Catholic Homes is a not-for-profit organisation with almost 50 years experience. Initially established under the auspices of the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne in 1960, we became an Incorporated Association in 1989 and still enjoy close links with the Archdiocese.
Our vision is to enable seniors to live in dignity and peace of mind, by creating and providing within a Catholic ethos, choices in care, services and retirement living.
Currently we employ around 540 staff and over 240 volunteers and provide services to around 1,000 seniors throughout Victoria, including Residential Care, Retirement Living and Community Care.
Our strategic directions include an active expansion of our services into new geographical areas, as well as further development of an integrated continuum of accommodation, care and retirement living options.
We value the close relationships we have with the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne, local parishes, religious orders, the Australian Catholic University, various cultural groups and local communities.
